I saw a 1-7X24 SIII on Sightron's website this morning.  It liked what I saw.  Not heavy, and it looks like they kept the knobs from sticking out too far.

Is this new, or am I just not very observant?  I don't see it listed in the SWFA catalog.  Anyone have any info on this one?  It would look very nice on top on my 416 Remington.

I wasn't aware of it. It looks like illumination and and higher zoom ranges are the current trend. Thanks for sharing.

It is new. I liked it also, but it does weigh 20 ozs. (which is a bit heavy IMO). It's an SIII though. Excellent
