Hey guys here's some questions for you. Why did Burris change the logo on the FF II scopes? Dad just got a new one and it has a O with a / thru it on the side. On the underneath it had a sticker that didn't say made in the USA. The type face on the scope was different than the couple of "identical" scopes which I already had mounted on other rifles. The exterior is definitely different the interior looks the same. When we mounted it and made sight adjustments we had to "throw one in the bank." (The first shot after a sight adjustment was worthless - it took the recoil of the rifle to make the adjustment final and positive.) I heard of a Pentax scope which also had similar problems. Dad isn't complaining just curious as to what he really bought....
Thanks for any insight. Steve D. the HP |

The O with a / thru it means this scope not designed to hold its zero.

Sorry should have explained that the logo had an O with a / thru it sort of like the logo for the Detroit Red wings hockey team. No the scope wasn't designated to be Red X'ed.
Thanks for the humor,

Had a FF II for a week and sold it for a loss. Not very precise in AO range. Good glass but still not a Nikon.
