Greetings....tried posting this in the shotgun section but didn't get any replies.
I have a Remington 870 Wingmaster with a fully rifled slug barrel/ w open sights at present. I want to put a Vortex Strikefire red dot on it. I use it for deer hunting. Most shots at 50yds. or less with the occasionally rare 100yd. shot. I think I would prefer tapping out the reciever as opposed to the B Square type of mounting. Any opinions on this would be much appreciated. |

Tapping a receiver can be tricky, I'd have it done by a pro.
Or stay with open sites.
