The scope has a carry handle mount built on to it. If you are doing a flat top application, you will need to pick up an adapter.

Thanks David, its already on the carry handle. $60 won't keep me from mounting on the flat top if I decide I want to go that way. It seems to cheek weld okay on the handle, but the flat top would get it closer to the bore. I was just wondering if anyone had strong preferences about the utility of mounting it one way or the other. Thanks again.

Mount it on the flat top!! No doubt! More user friendly, IMO.
It's nice to have an option....yes??

check weld on an Ar occurs when the cross hair is at the same height as the original iron sites. (mostly) ACOGs have already taken this into account in the design, Flattop definitly.
