I had the scope for a few years, it is a good scope, but not small. At all!

It is bright and is a great fit for a designated hog gun (which mine was.)

I recommend the triangle reticle rather than the mil dot, especially for moving targets.

The Accupoints are great scopes, definitely a best buy in the low light hunting category.

Equality is something you whine about not being given.

That's what I've heard about the weight. But Im not sold on the triangle. I get the quickness of it, but seems limited compared to mildot for hold overs. I would probably use the hold overs less in my shooting opportunities, but like to have the flexibility....
On another note, is a FFP scope worth $225 more than its cousin in SFP? For hunting under 300 yds..

No, not even close.  Inside 300 yards (and if you have a range finder) FFP is a pain since many reticles are uselessly small on the bottom and/or ridiculously large on the top.

The triangle isn't as good at hold-overs, but if you do a mil dot, be aware that Accupoint mil dot reticles are very thick (which is why I sold my 5-20 Accupoint with mil dot.)

Hey koshkin??

How is the Vortex 2.5-10 working on the 300 BLK?

And do you really think its worth the extra $200 + for FFP over SFP??

Im really thinking about just getting the SFP and saving the $$ considering Im shooting

the majority of shots under 100 yds

Thanks for your input

There are two 2.5-10x scopes in the Vortex PST line.

The 2.5-10x32 is FFP only.

The 2.5-10x44 is SFP only.

These are two very different designs.  I am a huge fan of the smaller 2.5-10x32 and I do not like the larger 2.5-10x44 very much.  The smaller scope has the more sophisticated optical system.
