This showed up in my parents back yard, and they live in town.

Cool!

...yet scary at the same time!

Hope they don't have a backyard pet.

Which town do they live in?

wow, that is cool, as long as it doesn't make a habit of sticking around.

They live in Lewistown.  There are a lot of deer that reside in town, and it is an easy meal for the cat I am sure.  I have a lion tag that I need to fill.

You run off to the far side of the state leaving your aging parents at home to fend for themselves. Now you want to go back and kill the cat. Shame on you Andrew. Only wanting to go home to your parents house just to shoot their cat.  Whacko
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

That's funny!

We've had one or two recently in our neighborhood. The deer have been really busy around here lately so the occasional lion comes around. I don't go out in the hills before daylight. I would. Certainly never have worried much while walking into a hunting spot pre-dawn. But the neighbors might not appreciate me cruising around with a rifle.
Reaction time is a factor...

Nice... send that cat my way... he can clean out the raccoons (and possums, armadillos, and squirrels, and...)
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

There are some who do not fear death... for they are more afraid of not really living

Oh, put out a bowl of milk.  Cougars need love, too, guys.

But go shoot one and make a rug!  Hunters need to be able to bag one!!
