It would figure that a Kanook would like those clunky British planes. Although I do love the Mosquito for it's speed, versatility, and invisibility to radar, and I like the Lancaster for it's payload, which wasn't matched or surpassed by anything until the B-29 came out.

Including this one just for the weirdness factor - Messerschmitt Me 163.  7 minutes of powered flight, glider landing, unofficial speed record of about 700mph.  Very corrosive/reactive fuel that had the unfortunate tendency of dissolving the pilot if the tanks were ruptured.  But it did manage to shoot down 16 aircraft, mainly heavy bombers.
