I'm looking at buying a 6.5x284 or having one made but what scope to go with . I like the Nikon line the 223 - bdc 600 or the 308 bdc 800 does anybody have any thoughts on this or has used one .

SWFA is listing the above scope on their site. It is similar to the ones you've list just not caliber specific. It is a closeout and has an outstanding price on it.

agreed, for the price thats a great deal. YOu can use Nikon's spot on program to get close estimates on your drops and then confirm at the range.
