    Posted: January/28/2015 at 13:15
I just purchased the Remington 700 SPS ACC in the 300 BLK and am looking for a quality scope in the 5-7 hundred dollar range.  I will be hunting and will be installing a suppressor, so most shots will be under or right at 100 yds.  Two scopes here have caught my eye, the VXR patrol in the 3x9x40 and the Nikon M300, which I believe is a new scope with very limited reviews.  I want simplicity and good glass, other than that, not much else.  Any suggestions on scopes or reviews on the two I mentioned?

I like the VX-R 3-9x idea. I love mine, though mine is the covered turret unit.

I have a vx-r partol on my 300 blk.  I like it quite a bit and think it fits it well.  Make sure to get a 20 moa base for the rifle.

For your anticipated application, I think the Leupold is almost ideal. You might want to try out the Sample List and see what's available too.

Let us know how you make out.

If you can get a illuminated 1-4x24 SS that too is a good to go hunting scope for the 300Blk IMHO.
