The photo contest theme for April, 2015 is "SPRING" (the season, not the coiled steel wire).

You can use anything YOU associate with Spring as a subject for your photos. Anything that happens during this time of year where you live, or any activity you enjoy during Spring is fair game.

Yes sir; those are bluebonnets. Was driving through La Grange, TX that day I texted you saying that La Grange reminded me of ZZ Top, which reminded me of the infamous Chicken Ranch, which reminded me of whorehouses, which reminded me of all the stories you told me of the days you frequented same...

Just kidding.

ZZ Top never crossed my mind.

Anyway, driving through La Grange, saw that lone calf laying out in a pasture among some bluebonnets, stopped and took a pic of it.

Correct, Sky Mac.

That's also the place where he got in that knife fight with a drunk banjo player over a lady who went by the name "Trixie Belle," which resulted in him getting that nose reconstruction surgery using skin grafts off his left buttock.

I always felt his interpretation of the entertainer was fair, but I thoroughly enjoyed it when he played Rosas Girls...
