He used a Colt M4, scoped with a Vortex Viper 2-7X32.

My favorite part of this pic was it was just a candid capture.  He had just grabbed the antler and that was his face as he looked up to make eye contact with his godfather, who had made a special trip to be there with us.

A little late, but I wanted to share what I thought was an interesting shot. This is the vapor trail coming off the bullet I fired at a black wildebeest in Limpopo province, South Africa.
