From the scopes you have listed, I would choose the Meopta.  Though I've never taken an antelope, I've killed my and someone else's share of deer.

While I've never shot an antelope I've watched them and there is not a lot of cover where they live so I'm thinking the shots would be several hundred yards so a scope that had a bit higher magnification might make sense.  Paul and I were out hunting deer in the late antlerless season a couple years back and Iowa not being rifle country we took sniper rifles that had Leupold Mk 4 scopes one a fixed 10x M3 the other an 8.5-25x50 and at 500 yds I could easily have hit any of the deer in a small herd we were watching, but Paul with the 25x could tell one was a spike buck and should not be shot. Needless to say we came home with a doe. Sometimes a little extra on the top end is useful, one of my favorite rifes is my Tikka 300WSM with a 4.5-14x44 Zeiss Conquest Rapid Z800.

I'm a Max Mag hog… love all the top end I can get with good glass.  However, the three scopes Whale listed were 10x top end.  With 10x I've never been unable to see what I was going to shoot at a range I would take the shot.

Thank you everyone for your input. I spoke with my nephew, and I told him to check out scopes at the gun range and store. Call me back with a magnification range and a reticle. The three scopes that I listed were suggestions. However, I do want to keep the price around a $1000.00.

Ilya,
The Kahles KXi 3.5-10x50 might be my next hunting scope. Many people overlooked the 280 Remington cartridge. I might have up the price to $1500.00 if my sister or nephew offered to put some money towards the purchase. Also, I don't know how well my nephew will take care of his equipment.

Certainly if you are willing to pay the extra dollars, the Kahles is a fine scope… never picked up a Kahles I didn't like.
