A $1200 Primary Arms? Wow, I didn't know it existed.
I have no experience with that scope, but know enough about its maker to cause some hesitation. When Vortex makes stuff much better for just a little more money, I would look elsewhere, but that's just me. If you are getting a smoking deal, it might be worth doing; otherwise, I'd look at other options, much more reliable options.

Thanks for reply, I also thought they made low end stuff, but from what I've see on the web about this 1x8 platinum scope it seems like it is well made. I do like the reticle allot and there has been good reviews on it, I will look in to much more, before I would make any kind of move on it,Thanks,Kev

If I rememb3r correctly, it is a LOW scope with PA's reticle in it. Shoutld be a fairly decent design if you like the reticle.
What I do not know is how bright the illumination is. The reticle on this scope will get fairly small on 1x, and visibility without illumination may suffer some. Aside from that, I like the mil version of their reticle.

I have one but have not used it much. About like my older zeiss conquest 2.5 to 8 optically. Can barely reslolve 223 bullet holes in white paper at 100 yards. In bright sunlight. Everything works smoothly as it should. The 1 x is excellent and is fast. Battery at low night setting only lasted a few days. At 8x the eye box is marginal but fine at low power. At 8 x Reticle color illumination is "splotchy" but this hasn't any effect on use I don't have experience with any similar tactical scopes so I don't have a comparative opinion. I would give it4 out of 5 stars
