The Sako A7 I have came with an Aluminum picatinny rail. I plan on replacing with a steel picatinny rail by recommendation of Sako when shooting a large caliber. My question is will the Sako Optilock rings work on the Sako A7 the same as they work on a Sako 85. I have yet to find any specific rings that say specifically for Sako A7. I am hoping to use the Sako Optilocks for the Sako A7 on the picatinny rail. Thanks for help and input on this subject!

I'm sorry nobody responded to your query. Rifledude is a Sako go to guy here. If your still unsure with the information you found, give him a PM and he'll get you squared away.

Who's rail are you using? Near Man.?

Good shooting and all the best. Stay safe down range.

That's what I had on my M75 Sako. Worked great. I didn't care for the Opti Locs.
