Any opinions on the Sightron SIII SS 8-32x56mm ? How is this scope for paper targets up to 200-300 yards? The glass quality etc etc
How is the Sightron Warranty? The price for me in Canada would be around $1200 or around $900 USD |

I cant edit so i have to post again...
The Sightron warranty is not as good as Leupolds or Vortex or a few others for that matter it seems. You have to have your receipt and if you are outside of the U.S like I am in Canada, then you cant ship it to them directly ever and have to ship it to your distributor first and they ship it to Sightron. This is quite annoying compared to Leupold and Vortex. Also they do not mention covering it even if you break it like Leupold and Vortex say. They say they cover material and workmanship defects. Too bad. I would have bought the scope. |

Not sure about Canada, but Sightron warranty and customer service are excelent in my experience. Every bit as good as anyone else's.

Well it cannot be. Since you need to retain receipt and they dont cover if you break it. Only if the materials fails or their workmanship isnt right. IT says on their website.

Never bothered to read the policy.
I've used their service. Noone asked me for a receipt and none cared how the product was damaged. Ilya |

Interesting becuase the scope seems like an amazing scope. Apparently the glass is very clear even at 32x

I have one...it's ok, think I'd try something else next time. It's not as bright and lacks contrast compared to others but I think Ilya pointed out to me that it's geared for resolution.
