Again I say consider the hornady. In basic config theirs works great, you add the pistol and rifle micrometers and they are flat out awesome. You can easily make tiny repeatable adjustments.
You also can change out the meter without having to dump the powder, which is nice at times. I also have the $25 Lee and I have loaded thousands of rounds with it and for $25 it is a awesome measure. However it does not work well with small based ball powders, they actually leak out through the rotor. But with stick powders it works well. I also have the RCBS electronic measure and scale. Which is what I use for load workups. It is sssslllloooowwww, to load with. But for weighting each load it is hard to beat. But 90% of the time I load by volume not weight. It is much faster and in my experience very accurate. So I just get my hornady measure set and then just dump one after another. Edited by supertool73 - July/21/2016 at 09:20 |

Anymore, I almost have nothing in the Uniflow but Varget, which isn't the greatest for metering. But the metal powder baffle really helps. Most drops are within .1-.2 grains.

I've never used an old school measure. I bought the hornady auto charge and it's perfect for rifle loads. Some reviews say it overcharges a lot but I guarantee those people didn't watch dvd and made minor tweaks. Once set up right it's awesome. Basically while I seat a bullet the next charge is being measured and ready when I'm done. It's a lot cheaper than rcbs one. Of course I'm just doing single stage so if large quantities if 223 it's probably slow....
