If you love hunting in very low light or even at night I would like to present this hunting scope that will do the job.

Schmidt and Bender Fixed Classic 8x56, it can be found priced from $750 to $1000 and is a optimized precision

tool for this extreme situation. Features a .36 per click metric movement and a 1" tube. For a range report see

koshkins Millet and other scopes low light report in the tactical section.

Looks great!  How does it compare to the Kahles CL in low light & optical clarity?

Hello Ceylonc

During the day there is no significant optical advantage between the two, at

night this scope comes alive and it has a advantage over the CL, it also has

better adjustment knobs and reticle in my opinion. The Khales CL has the

Parallax adjustment which gives the multi-purpose overall advatage for that

scope, this scope is more of a special purpose type of scope. Ceylonc if

you are interested in a Schmidt wait a little bit there is going to be some

new models that are going to be coming out soon that are going to turn

heads all around the globe.

Thanks for the assessment!  Sounds like a fantastic rifle scope.  What are you using your scope & rifle setup for primarily?

Tell me (if you can) a little bit more about the new models to be introduced.  I am VERY interested in a Schmidt such as yours.  Any other info would be much appreciated.

Hello Ceylonc

I am using this setup to hunt late after work and at night at a friends

private land. As for the new Schmidts there is going to be new reticles,

PM models and more hunting models. I am saving up my money right

now.
