Saw this on the SampleList and got me curious. Any opinions?
I have a Tavor I'm looking to put a red dot/scope on. Intent would be a CQB platform primarily with the option of stretching it out to 300 yards. Aimpoint is my normal optic for this type of use case with the SWFA 1-4x scope as another option.

I looked through one of those at a rifle class years ago. At the time on my rifle I had my IOR 4x scope. The image was very dark compared to my IOR. I honestly didn't care for it because of that. But that was probably 10 years ago, so things may be different now.

Thanks. Had a chance to look through one and see what you mean. The 14mm objective definitely was not as bright as a Aimpoint I compared it to or my SWFA 1-6x scope.
Opted to give the Trijicon RX34 a run on the Tavor. I keep hearing things about washout so will check that out.

I have compact ACOGs in 1.5x amber triangle and 3x red crosshair the 2x in the red crosshair would be a good choice - very bright much brighter than the Comp M4s with a fine but well illuminated crosshair, Still very fast but more precise. (I've looked at the Leupold CQT but did not like it, talked to a soldier who was issued one in Iraq, said he loved it - go figure???)
