Before breaking my leg on an Aoudad hunt, I was fortunate enough to draw a mule deer tag in Wyoming. I booked with the same guys I've hunted pronghorn several times, but the outfitter put me with a different guide. I'm glad they did. Opening day I was able to take this absolute beast. It was the hardest hunt I've ever done. Freezing temps. Rain and snow flurries. Wind. Open terrain. Belly crawl. Two hour wait for him to stand up from his bed. 460 yard shot - the longest I've ever taken on an animal.
Incredible experience to share with my son - who now wants to shoot prairie dogs all day every day. |

That is one exceptional muley buck! Wow!
I would caution you guys not to handle prairie dogs with bare skin. Those things carry bubonic plague, monkey pox, and other diseases. |

It is the same when you are stupid. |
