I've always said I've never lived anywhere where it would be worth carrying a gun. If the frequency and severity of incidents increases, I might revise that. Scrummy

Hello Ed, Yeah the UK has some seriously gnarly coastline. Makes fishing and waterfowling interesting, that's for sure! In fact, after the bay of Funday in Canada, we have the second largest tidal range in the world. The Severn Estuary has top end tidal range of ~50 feet and on the mud flats, the tide comes in faster than you can run...

I was trying to find a Youtube of the tide coming in.
I have always been fascinated with Britain's Mud Flats! ( weird! Ha! ) Edited by Son of Ed - September/09/2018 at 10:03 |

When you are dead, you don't know you are dead.It is difficult only for others.
It is the same when you are stupid. |

We had heavy rains Saturday that caused flash flooding in many places around the State. 3 people got killed. One guy rode his fishing boat over a dam during a fishing tournament, a kid got sucked in a drain pipe, and a cab driver drowned in his cab trying to drive through a flooded underpass. Guess which one I suspect as a case of stupidcide?

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.
