I just got the email of the release. This might be exactly what I am searching fo for my .17 her or .22lr. I wonder what parallax is set to? 100 yards?

That would be a great scope for a 17HMR, and in my price range too.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

This is a VERY strong entry into the hunting scope market for SWFA. I expected nothing less.

I played with a prototype for a bit and it is a very nice little scope.
It spent some time on my 10/22 and worked really nicely there. As is usually the case with scopes that are set up at 100 yards, it will not be perfectly sharp inside of 50 yards at 10x, but as you lower magnification a little, it is very serviceable. I will fully ring out a production version shortly and have an update up toward the end of the week. This scope will really do well on hunting ARs and micro action bolt guns. Aside form being very light, it also has a really slim eyepiece: ILya

Love the Aadland covers and magnification handle but I think you doubled the weight of the scope when you added them or did Jon sneak them on there? lol

I purchased one of these scopes today. Not my first SS scope. While I haven’t mounted it on a rifle yet i compared it to a Leupold Vari-x II 2-7x32 and a Vari-X III 3.5-10x50 and it seems to be between the two in resolution and very close to the same light gathering of the III at 6 power. Now its time to choose a rifle to put it on!

I'm seeing lots of complaining (elsewhere) relative to the "short" ER. Looks good to me though.

Great to finally see an SS hunting scope. This scope should be in Tally's and covered with an old inner tube

Here are my first impressions of the production model:
I think all the hubbub about short eye relief stems from people wanting a lightweight scope for their lightweight boomers. I think the design intent for this one is different: ARs and botlguns chambered for 223, 6.8SPC, Grendel, Blackout, etc. ILya
