Have a Tavor SAR. Replaced the toprail with a Manticore Arms full size toprail.
Just ordered the Troy BUIS (front and raer) from IWI and the EOTECH EXPS3-4 with G33.STS magnifier. I don’t really know where to start? I’m assuming I install and sight in the BUIS first. Then attach the exps3-4 and magnifier. But from what distance is it ideal to sight this eotech and magnifier? Also, would I sight the eotech in, and then attach the magnifier and sight that in? And from what distance?? Please help |

I would install your BUIS first and then your magnifier, then the Eotech.
Once you have done so, I would make sure the magnifier is flip out to the side and sight in at 33 yards matching your point of aim with point of impact. Then as it is centered, use the magnifier and sight in at 100 yards. Once that is complete, I would flip the magnifier out to the side, flip up your BUIS and center it based on the holographic dot location, shoot it to confirm and if required make the necessary adjustments to the BUIS and complete your day at the range.

Skylar's recommendations are pretty good. I would ask at what ranges you wish to zero, sight and BUIS? How you set things up depends heavily on intended usage. Don't zero a gun for 300 yards that will primarily be shot at 100. Likewise, if it is a CQB gun that might see 100+ yard shots, set it up as such. As you probably won't be making many adjustments once zeroed, make sure the stressful shot - if there might be one - will be the most natural to make. I have spent a bit of time on a Tavor, it is an interesting gun.
