Hello everyone. So I thought reloading was going to be the way to go. I let a friend talk me into letting him reload for me. To mAke a long story short it is not cost effective for me at all to reload. So now I have quite a bit of stuff to sale. Things like dies, powder, cases, primers and bullets. What is the best way to advertise this stuff to have it sold quickly? Putting the money towards a new rifle. This reloading stuff was for 300 win mag and 308. Thanks

I was going to add this to the post you recommended or spot but for some reason I don't have permission to do so.

It gets expensive unless you have a local source for powder, otherwise the hazmat fee is rough, unless you buy in bulk.
It is very inexpensive for me to reload, but I am always looking for brass at my hunting club. Last time I was at the range, some guy was shooting an AR10 and gave me a ton of his spent brass.

I didn't notice before but it looks like you've only posted 15 times on the OT, this may fall under the minimum 50 post rule.

Wait, you have the stuff to reload and are selling it? It is expensive for you because you have not taken the pieces and turned them into usable ammo. I load 300WM and it far cheaper (and far, far more consistent) than factory ammo. If you have the stuff and some patience and detail-orientation, making ammo is rewarding on the range. Otherwise, as some have said, powder and primers get expensive to ship. If you want to sell it without much expense, look for someone local to buy it, skip the hazmat shipping fee.

Actually for me and my situation there really are no benefits to the reloading as I thought there would be. I do not shoot enough 308 or 300 at ranges to justify reloading in that sense nor do I really shoot past 300 yards so my current factory ammo, Barnes ttsx bt, will suffice well enough for my hunting needs. I don't have the time nor patience or desire to start yet another hobby anyways. I was hoping to sell all of the items locally to avoid having to adhere to shipping requirements when dealing with the power, etc. This originally started when my friend said that he could reload my ammo with a great recipe. Well he was used to reloading 308 and not 300 which I understood but when I asked him to do some research to make sure we get the optimum performance from the recipe he didn't want to do that. He wanted to stick with his cookie cutter recipe he has always used and kept using paper accuracy as his justifications. Don't get me wrong paper data helps but only to a certain extent especially when you start talking about big game hunting but I am not here to debate ammo and this and that. I just have some stuff I need to get rid of.
