Well it looks like Winchester is coming out with a new round, and I have a feeling it won't be long before we see it in an AR15 platform....
Like to see Hornady load it with some superformance powder and see what they can get out of it. After hunting with my 450 bushmaster AR, I like a lot of the aspects of the AR platform. Like it's hands free when you are walking if you need it to be. Now I just need a deer to walk by me!!

There are great aspects to the AR, but also limitations.
For hunting, I am mostly still a bolt gun guy, but a light-ish AR10 is getting more use than i expected. Next year, I'll be feilding a 6.5grendel, we'll see if it is worth the effort. |

A 35 cal AR round would be a cool addition. Starline already makes a straight wall 223 brass to be formed that is 1.745ish in length. They say the 350 is 1.71, so almost just right.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

I kind of want a case that I can stick scoped barrelled uppers in, and then I can taylor my hunting around one rifle, and just swap upper and magazine.
I love the 450 Bushmaster. I was thinking a grendel would be good, to go with a 5.56. Then one case, 3 different options. |
