Will it take sizing lube off your cases? I use Redding dry case lube (graphite) until I have to full-length them.

If it wasn't so blasted expensive i'd ship you my setup to try but honestly once you use the stainless pin cleaning tumblers you'll never go back to corncob or anything else.

First I’ve heard of stainless tumbling media. Looked online and think I’m going to try it out. Corn cob does a decent job on the outside. Inside the cases, not so much.
Thanks!

I've noticed that with allot of handgun brass. not as much with rifle.
Also, have you ever looked into stainless steel pin tumblers? Brass looks brand new when it comes out. Worth the investment.

Tumbled some brass this afternoon in preparation for reloading. I had mixed lots of Federal and Winchester, which I only use for practice and Starline which I load for defense. As I was removing and sorting the brass I was noticing that the Starline and Winchester frequently had media stuck in the flash holes. The Federal brass almost never did. Taking a close look, it’s obvious that the Federal brass uses substantially bigger flash holes. Pulled out some old range brass I had and looked at the flash holes in all of it. Only Federal and Speer had big holes the other brands are pretty close to the same. I used drill bits and my calipers to determine the size, so it’s not exact but very close. The Federal and Speer brass use a .096 hole, the other brands use .077. Anyone know why? The blazer case uses a small primer so you can discount it I suppose. Something that’s interesting to note is that the Hornady and Starline cases are +P but still use the small flash holes. Anyone know anything instructive about this. I measured several Winchester, Starline and Federal cases. It’s not an aberration.
