When you are dead, you don't know you are dead.It is difficult only for others.
It is the same when you are stupid. |

25 Years ago somebody very kind loaned me a Win 61 or 62 like that. For 4 years. I used it to shoot rabbits anywhere between Amarillo, Hobbs, and Lamesa, Seminole, and Snyder. Good .22 ammo cost $0.80 or so per 50 rds, and i rarely missed. I also got 3 hogs with it. I kept the family supplied with meat for 4 years. Must have have been 800 rabbits or more. All of them cleaned and cut with a Swiss Army Knife that i still have. Wife cooked it in 100 different ways. When i left i cleaned and oiled the rifle and returned to owner. Also sent many thank you cards to ranchers who allowed my shooting. Some of them may be reading this. Thank you again and again.

The ostrich made for some very fine eating and i would not mind having another, the goat was still as tough as boot leather after 3 hours in the pressure cooker.
