Hello everyone , i wish you a happy new year!Big Grin

I would like to ask the more experienced ones if this scope is compatible (when i say compatible i mean the bullet drop. This scope is made for 7.62x54mmR):

A) with .303 british caliber

B) with 7.92x57 mm Mauser caliber

C) with 7.62x39 mm caliber

D) with .30-06 Springfield caliber

Which of this calibers is closest to 7.62x54mmR?

Thank you!

That depends on which load you plan to use.  Generally, military loading of 30-06 would be the closest.

If you know how to use a ballistics calculator, the BDC in the POSP 7.62x54R scopes was built around their sniper load which was a 151gr bullet fired at around 2830fps.  G1 BC of that bullet is right around 0.41.  G7 BC is right around 0.21
