An original Cattaraugus 225Q Quartermaster knife from WW II....(I got one!  Bucky)

Peddler, sometimes people use knives for other things than gutting deer and squirrels. I once gutted an antelope with a 3 1/2 inch Puma jackknife. 

The Quartermaster knife is a Utility/Camp knife.
