I have been researching the Nikon Monarch binocs and find there are two listings for the Nikon Monarch 8x42 ATB camos. What is the difference between the # 7434 and the # 7524?.The only thing I see, other than price($60.00 dif),is one is listed as Team Realtree and the other is Realtree Hardwoods Green. What am I missing? Thanks. Hola Cazador
Better coatings on the 7524 resulting in a improved image, worth the price diference IMO.

The team realtree requires some sort of payment to whoever made the special brand. It is not like a famous person giving their name, but similar. You are paying a bit for the looks. The coatings may be different too.

Tero, Thanks for that info.I also suspected something like that.I want a camo cover, but the optics are the most important to me. Cazador |

I am going to have to look up the numbers because it has been my experience that the Team Realtree bins come out in Realtree camo..aka Realtree Hardwoods. It may just be that one is a "special edition" with the words "Team Realtree" on the side of it. If that is the case then, unless you are a big Team Realtree fan, then they aren't worth the price increase. ;)

De nada, Cazador.
The 7524 is phase coated. Good luck on your next hunt.

All discriptions I find show the same for both.As far as the coating, some say phase-correction prisms or phase-correction coated prisims or phase-coated BaK-4 prisms.Everything else is the same except the 7434(Realtree Hardwoods Green) or 7524(TRT Team Realtree).Sure can't see paying that much difference just for the camo. Thanks friends.

I received a reply about the Nikon Monarch # 7434/7524s from one dealer. He says the 7434 has been discontinued.Guess the # 7524 has replaced them. Cazador |
