Aimpoint Comp M4 Close Combat Optic, Special Limited Edition.

Kit includes:

Aimpoint CompM4 with a 2 moa red dot reticle

KillFlash Anti Reflection Device

Quick Release Picatinny Rail Mount with AR-15 Spacer

The new site is really nice, I like the new rail system.  More and more scope makers are getting away from using rings to mount their scopes.

Made where I cant quite read the box. How Limited of an edition is this Chris? I like the AA battery feature it can be hard to find the other batteries. Is that a removeable spacer system in the mount to adjust height?

My Rock River Ar said it neeeeds one of these!

Aimpoints have always been made in Sweden.  They are not specifying how limited the edition is, I am sure it is limited to how many they sell.   The AA feature was a requirement by the U.S. Military as they are easier to get abroad and easily shared amongst other gear.  Yes the spacer is removable and designed to adjust height.

An evolutionary (instead of revolutionary) upgrade from the previous versions, an excellent choice (IMHO) if you're looking for an excellent CQB optic that comes with everything you need right out of the box. If you already have a decent optic you're happy with (M2/M3, Eotech, etc) then it might not be worth upgrading to. The AA battery feature is perfect for my needs since just about everything else I have uses AA's. Here's a CompM4 on one of my PS90's:

I bought one and it is the best of the Aimpoints for sure.  Very nice setup.
