Hi I'm new in this forum. I have a Sauer 202 Advantgarde Gold links cal. 308, and I just got a Zeiss 6-24 x 56 with reticle 63 mounted on it. I'm from Denmark, and I dont think the manual in english is that easy to understand regarding how to use the reticle 63... Is there someone outthere with experience... Please help ;-)

On the scope, 1 klick equals 0,5 cm at a 100 meters. Can I use any of the MOA, "Mills" talk to anything ?? or is that only for you guys with inches, yards and so on ??

1/4 MOA = 7,5 mm (or 0.75 cm) at 100 meters

0,1 mrad = 10 mm (or 1 cm)  at 100 meters

1 mil = 0.0254 mm (or 0.00254 cm)

1 yard = 0.9144 meter

1 feet = 0,3048 meter

1 inches = 2.54 cm

I hope to help you...

Well...I am living in Europe / Greece and I am more familiar with the metric system than the inches / foots etc…

Now one question for you, in which rifle / caliber you use the 6-24x56?

I am planning to buy for my the Hendsold/Zeiss 4-16x56 or the 6-24x56 or 72 for my Manlicher Steyer Tectical Elite at 308”. What do you thing is the better choice?

I have seen everything installed in a weapons, any shooter has a choice and reason to pout the right for him scope.

Don't use imperial measuerments on a scope made for metric.

It's stupid espsially as you not are used to think in imperial.

On 12X there is 10 cm betwen the dots on 100 meters. that is the same as 20 cm on 200 meters or 5 cm on 50 meters.

On 6X is 20 cm on 100 meters and on 24X its 5 cm on 100 meters.

You can use the dots for estimating a distance, but you can also use it during night time for measuring the size of the game. This is espesially usefull on wild boar at night to avoid to shoot the wrong ones.

I would not use the Mil dots to hold over for shooting at long distances, as you have the turrets there instead.

I often shoots at long range and I always adjust the sight and aim at the target.

Regards Technika
