For glass quality and durability what would be the better scope on a muzzle loader?

I think the VX II would be a better, more duarble scope, but I'd save the $100 and get the FFII.

I have/had both the VX-II & FF II and the Burris (to my eyes) is a brighter scope. The adjustments were also truer and more accurate with the Fullfield II. Just my $.02... |

Optically Fullfield II is a little better. Not sure about the adjustments; I thought they were comparable.
As far as durability goes, I do not think that VX-II is any more durable than Fullfield II. Burris scopes are generally pretty tough. Ilya |

Fullfield is a brighter scope and as far as durablitly I think both are really durable. The adjustment knob on the Burris is hard to turn until it breaks in but it is one solid scope. Leupold is supposed to have the best warranty out there so maybe that justifies the $100 more money for less optical performance ,if it was me Burris.
