Average Joe, it was just a little levity, nothing against Savage or their owners.

That one obviously had something stuck in the barrel when he pulled the trigger |

THAT to me looks like somebody was trying to bore sight it and forgot to remove the bore sight...er.
Something definately seemed to be stuck in the end of the barrel for something like that to happen. Maybe I'm wrong.
I was reading the comments below the vid and ran across this one:
"In my opinion i was gonna buy the gun but i heard a lot of bad things about it like the bolt action wasnt so smooth on it things like that and it wasnt very durable this is just what i heard but instead i went out and bought a mossberg 100 ATR 30-06 and i am very pleased with it the bolt action is also alot smoother.
These guys REALLY know their firearms, I'll tell ya. LOL |

I agree, what a bunch of numb nuts. I hope Savage sees that video and calls them on the carpet. I agree also that the Remington probably had something in the tip of the bore, like a bore sighter. I should know, I have done that before. See the post under the stupidest things we have ever done.

I don't know what happened to that Savage! Did that rifle just GO OFF or did they trip the trigger??
The Remington blew up on the SECOND shot!!! There was no barrel obstruction there!! Call your lawyer and get Remington on the phone!!

Mine blew out the barrel on the third shot. I was bore sighting between shots and forgot to remove it after the second shot.

I think the numb nuts that performed this stunt are from Alaska where day light can be short, women scarce, too much booze and too much free time on their hands. I think this was the precursor to the "Proper barrel break-in" video that made it's rounds of recent. It was not accidental.
