I just took delivery of my first AR... A Rock River Arms 20" Varmint... I am looking for a scope now... I would like to use one I already have, let me know if any of these are good options... In the order I think I prefer...
Nikon Monarch UCC 4x12x40 (I have two of them) Leupold VX-II 3x9x40 Bushnell 3200 3x9x40 Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40 (probably to be put on my next centerfire rifle) B & L 3000 Elite 1.5x4.5x44 Simmons Aetec 3x9x40

Does the Super Sniper have fully multicoated lenses? I will probably be taking some shots in very low light so that may be a concern for me.
Also I will be hunting Coyotes and they are "wiley". I can never get them to stand still, so I don't think a minimum magnifaction of 10x would allow for correct tracking. It would be great for prarie dogs/woodchucks, but I would like a more variable scope... Any suggetsions? |

Yes the SS scopes are fully multicoated but not the best choice for your application as you've noted.

if yotes are in the equation, you want something with no more than 4X on the bottom end, i think i would hae to choose your nikon 4-12.

The 4-12 would best suit your needs if you are never going to get a still shot.

4-12 or 4.5-14 would be the best magnification for your needs. Low enough magnification for running shots and high enough for some prairie dog shoots.
