I had one in 4x36 on my .458 Lott. Loved it, but sold it not long ago (days) to help finance a rebarrel on a rifle I am building. Choice between keeping probably the best scope I have ever owned or getting this custom job done in my lifetime. I chose the latter, but regret it. It was sighted in 3in high at 100yds. Holding a 1/4 of radius below the center dot, it was DEAD on at 200yds. Great for fast acquisition, but a little slow for me, I did not get to shoot with it much, am sure it would have been easier with more shooting, trying to "range" distances other than the zero point. It one of those "keepers" that I didn't keep. It is not a reticle for everyone. You did not say what you are using it for, what your intended ranges are, etc, so all I can tell you is be certain you want it. S&B is relatively easy to resell, but you still have to go through the motions, if you decide you don't like it. I DID like it a lot, just want to build the rifle more, for now. Figure I can fight the scope battle later.

that is very similar, same design idea as my favorite hunting Zeiss reticle. The #4 or the illuminated #40.
I love it as the open top field of view makes watching and spotting easier.
