I have one of the early LRS-1 scopes on my 30-06 and I would agree it is a great scope for the money, not a German made Zeiss but only 1/7 th money. So far no problems but when I had a problem with a first generation TRS-1 Millett I sent in in to Millett and had a new 4 generation one back in about 10 days with no hassle and no problems.
Good scope for the money and great service.

I have the TRS-1 and it is a very good solid scope. It isn't an IOR, or a S&B, Kahles, Zeiss, but a solid dependable and very decent quality scope. The glass isn't at the 4200 level. I would recommend the scope for anyone in the market for a good bargain tactical, or target scope. The LRS is supposed to have better glass than the TRS, I have looked through it but done no side by side.
