If it is genuinely for tactical use, no; if it is going on a 300UM, no!
When it comes to tac scopes, there is more to the equation than glass - and if it is a really heavy hitter, Swaro American ain't the way to go. Having said that, I own a Swaro American and it is a great hunting scope, great glass; but I do not and would not mount them on my tac guns. If you have that kinda $$ to drop, get the S&B or USO - or maybe even IOR 3-18; there are real differences between hunting scopes and tactical scopes. If you need tactical, hunters don't fit the bill. |
