I'm looking at the Sandpiper to replace my Bushnell Spacemaster.
The angle Sandpiper cost more than the straight. I'd rather have the straight, but all the reviews are on the angle one.
Anyone know if there is any difference between the straight and angle other the position of the eye piece?????

What are you going to use it for, hunting, group spotting, star gazing, etc.?

 Sorry, should have said.
I'm using it at the shooting range.  100 yards at the most.  Mostly to see .22 holes.
The Bushnell Spacemaster was OK. I'm looking to replace it because it's old and getting foggy inside.
Made a big mistake and got a Barska 20-60x60. What a piece of junk. Ok at 20x, but anything over that, eye releif is "zero".

I received mine the other day, I purchased the straight one and the vortex tripod. I used it yesterday, it is great.

For what your going to use it for, punching paper at 100 yards most, I would say straight.

 To Blueboy,
How is the eye releif on the Sandpiper you got?????
I need something with long eye releif because of the shooting glasses.
Got your message, didn't have a link to the store, but I think I found the place.Excellent
