I am down to two choices, The Bushnell Yardage ProŽ Quest 8x36-or the Leica Rangefinder 7x21-1200.
I'm a little concerned about The Bushnell Yardage ProŽ Quest 8x36 because of it's weird specks Reflective surfaces: 1,300 yards, Trees: 700 yards, Deer: 450 yards, Flag: 325 yards Not very far for deer. I'm already shooting Caribou at that distance with a standard scope, but I do like the idea of a binocular over a monocular. Do you know how far the Leica Rangefinder 7x21-1200 can range deer? From what I have seen so far you can't go by any companies specks, because they don't specify their distance for what. That's where it's important since it would really give us the strenght of their lazer. |

There is no set number because conditions and user techniques can greatly affect performance. Ball park figure for the Leica 1200 on a deer size target would be about 650 yards.
