Is there any real or practical difference between the Butler Creek & Tenebraex ARDs? Just curious...

ARDs work by a clustering a large number tiny tubes into a honeycomb-like grid. The length-to-width ratio of these tubes has a certain selected relationship to the field of view of the optical system.ARDs fit easily into a standard scope cap like Butler creek and other caps. There is also the kind that screws in to the threads. They work the same if you are wanting a particular kind be sure to ask which one does what. That way you make sure you get the correct one for your scope and the right parts.

FIT CHART

NOTE: In order to fit the huge variety of scopes out there, SunGuard ARDs are designed to mount to a scope by fitting inside of a Butler Creek Flip-Open, Quake or Blizzard scope cap. If your scope does not already have an objective scope cap, you must fit one to your scope in order to use a SunGuard ARD.

Thx for the info but I was hoping to discover if there's any real/practical difference between the two ARDs I mentioned.

Nothing practical like I mentioned one is held in by the butler creek and one screws in like a sun shade that is the only difference.
