I was looking at the specs of a range finder for maximum range. It listed 1000 yd for reflective, 650 yd for a tree, and 325 yd for a deer. I can understand why a reflective target has the longest range, but what is it about a tree and a deer that causes such a large difference in usefull range?

The hardest thing to range is a black cow.

Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.
Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow Now the rules have changed again. |
