Picture really doesnt do this scope any justice.  Camera was hand held  with about 4" of relief.Temp was already 89* and the air was boiling already.  About  9;30 AM.   Scope set at 50X  and the distance was 300yds.  I dont know how many lenses I was looking through, so I cant offer any mechanical excuses.   Bullet holes on top 2 targets, could have backed down on power to clear things up I guess.

My computer skills arent the best , had to manually crop this pic so its a bit out of shape.

Cdog, I just wish I could have taken the pics on a cooler and dryer day.  Bullet holes and scoring rings have way more definition than what you see in the pics.  And yes, I could have backed down to 40X or even 30X or maybe 45 or 35 or????   So many choices!   Or maybe I could have focused more on the target instead of them little things behind it.

           Well there you have it.

(I'll post here instead of in the Nikko Sterling thread that 338LapuaSlap started in the Rifle Scopes section)

Nikko Sterling is in the same boat as Tasco. Their bottom end scopes are junk but their top end stuff is "Made In Japan" and from what i've seen people use, their pretty good...I wouldn't say that their top end is better than (or the same as) a Leupold VX-3, Weaver Grand Slam or Bushnell Elite 3200/4200 series tho.
