The Zeiss Conquest scopes all have a constant eye relief (4" on the 3-9x40), meaning that your head position can remain constant through out the entire power range. They are built from extremely durable yet light one piece aluminum tubes (15 ounces on the 3-9x40). Precise windage and elevation adjustments can be made with out the use of a tool. All Conquest feature finger adjustable windage and elevation with a square range of adjustment. This offsets the reticle's natural tendency to follow a curving path and also allows for maximum range of adjustment (a whopping 64" of adjustment in the 3-9x40). Six different glass etched reticles are available, including a turkey 57, mil-dot and proprietary ZRF range finding reticle (ZRF not available in the 3-9x40). All models also feature the very handy "European style" fast focus eye piece. Side focus parallax adjustment is standard on 4.5-14x44. Wide field of view ranges from 11.0' - 34.0' at 100 yards on the 3-9x40. Finely ground and polished lenses ensure that every 3-9 is actually 3x - 9x. To achieve maximum light transmission Zeiss fully multi-coats both sides of all lens surfaces with their proprietary coatings and they even go as far as to eliminate the use of any lubricants internally to keep down the possibility of reflecting any stray light. Conquest are even water-proof (submersible) with or without their adjustment caps. Increased mounting area of 6 inches makes mounting on long actions easier and gives you more versatility for proper eye relief. Full lifetime warranty regardless of who ones it, if it has the Zeiss name on it, then it has a lifetime warranty. |
