I've had a Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport for several
years now . The Sport was OK for bow hunting but I
began to use it for hunting squirrels & discovered I
need something better. Does the Bushnell Scout or
Trophy have any better optics? Also is the Scout
worth $50 more than the new Trophy? Thanks for
any comments.

I do not think the scout model is worth $50 more than the Trophy. I would save your money and go with the Bushnell Legend. That is the only Bushnell rangefinder I would consider. I own a Nikon Monarch Laser800 and it was worth the money.

STWSniper, thanks for your reply. I decided to go
with the Scout since I'll be using it mostly for bow
hunting & it's very compact. I've read good things
about the Nikon Monarch Laser 800 but I didn't want
to spend that much on a rangefinder right now. I got
it from Cabela's so I can exchange it If I don't like it. I
usually buy my optics from Chris but I had some
Cabela's Club points built up & also had a $20
coupon off $150 order or more. Maybe Chris will
forgive me this time.

I am sure he will.   The Bushnell Scout will do the job for sure.
