"When it comes to killing game, a three-thousand-dollar rifle with a one-thousand-dollar scope is worth no more than its bullet. If the bullet fails, the rest is for naught.  When one gets right down to it, killing power depends on two factors: proper bullet placement (in which the rifle and its sights certainly have their part to play), and the behavior of the bullet after it arrives - its terminal ballistics, in other words."  - Finn Aagaard

Have said it often, that the rundown on terminal particulars are simply:

1) Placement
2) Projectile selection
3) Headstamp

Shooting is the easiest facet of any Hunt to control and I'm amazed that the masses miss that obvious.................
