I would like to sell my Sako 75 Varmint chambered in .243 Win. It is all stainless steel, laminated stock, drop out magazine, 23.5" heavy fluted bbl., (1 in 10" twist) with the adjustable SINGLE SET TRIGGER. I realize that we are in some tough economic times, and this is an expensive varmint gun. (I paid $1850 for the gun new, and $150 for the 30mm Opti-Lok rings, I have original reciept, box, manual, and the tools that came with it.) The gun has 135 rounds fired through the bore, and shoots the 87 gr. V-maxs sub MOA. It shoots the Lapua Scenar 90 gr. pills better yet, (into one ragged hole at 100 yards.) I have all the targets with loading data recorded that will go with the gun. I will also give the Lapua brass that is formed to the chamber. I would like to get $1700 OBO for the gun with the Opti-Lok rings(no screws are stripped). The reason that I'm selling is that I would like to build a single shot bench gun. I don't have any pics, but probably could get a friend to take some digital photos, and send them to you. (I have no idea how to do this on a computer) Will ship it from my riflesmith (who has a FFL) to your FFL dealer. I will pay for shipping and insurance to lower 48 states. Thanks, John

I would consider a trade for a custom single shot, short action, right bolt (.308 face), with Jewell trigger and rings.

Price drop: $1500 firm, or trade for custom single shot action as listed above.

I would consider trading for a clean Remington 40 X single shot, centerfire.

Thanks for the kind compliments! I don't have the photos of the Sako on my computer, but my friend has them on his. The only problem is, my friend left today for a moose hunt in Alberta. I'll get them to you in a week or so cheaptrick. Thanks again.

Very fine rifle, almost bought one once...  feels iike it is MADE to hold.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

Here's a pic of my 75 Varmint.  I'm sure yours looks identical to it, BB.
