If yu men field, the uses vary with the objective of the project. its possible to use all of these in one device and throw in some extras, such as optical fibers, coherent light amplification, to say nothing of coding and communication technology.

Well, lenses and prisms are used in eyeglasses, contact lenses, magnifying glasses, microscopes, riflescopes, optical rangefinders, binoculars, cameras, spotting scopes and celestial telescopes, for starters.
I'm sure the medical and certainly the optometry fields use hundreds of them in various devices, as well.
Does that help you at all?

What you really want are some lab and course books from Vincennes University.  They are one of the few places you can get a degree in lazers. http://www.vinu.edu  They will teach you to make your own lazer. They have more than you want to know.  They have been one of my customers.  I am also an Alum.

Please do not think us rude.  There seems to be some language difficulties. Is that because english is not your only language? My next guess that you are a younger person and not quite sure what to ask.

Smile, I am working for a lens manufacture, but I know little about the usage. So when I begin my sales work, I think I should be familiar with the usage. thanks for helping me.
