I have had so much fun with that Tasco Red Dot I bought for my Ruger Mk II that I am beginning to wonder if maybe I should get another one for my S&W Model 57 (.41mag). I had planned on a 2X traditional with cross hairs as I am using the .41 for hunting deer, but most of my shooting will be in dusk and dawn light so maybe the red dot will be a viable option? Let me know your thoughts guys as I am sitting here with the Weigan base installed trying to decide which way to go... |

You would have to keep the brightness setting on that red dot sight pretty low. In low light it would drown out the image. What did you end up going with? |

I have the Tasco on the .41 right now. Took four shots to zero in at two inches high at 50 yards. Red dot not bad on paper, remains to bee seen how it does on an animal target.
