This is the "clip" model with tang safety. It's been nicely reblued, and the wood is in very good shape. The trigger is very good, with a 1" ventilated Pachmayr recoil pad, and I've done a little epoxy-bedding to the forend; as a result it shoots very well, under 1" at 100 yards with more than one load. I'd also include some brass.
Will ship priority mail insured for $700.

Hello John,
Do you have any info on different models of the 99 ? Reason I ask, my father just acquired a 99 C "series A"in 308. I was going to sell it for him for $450. I don't know anything about 99's, but this one has the Indian head on the pistol grip, and is missing a small strip of blueing were a piece of plastic was stuck to the receiver for a long period of time.
Who new plastic would take blueing off a rifle? Just wondering if I am asking too much or not enough.
