Surefire Produces Small Light, Generates Lots of Lumens

Fountain Valley, CA -- SureFire, LLC, manufacturer of the world's finest illumination tools and tactical products, announces the introduction of the smallest flashlight in the company's product portfolio. The small but powerful T1A Titan is an evolution of the titanium limited-edition Titan flashlight that SureFire produced in 2006.

The Titan's CNC-machined high-strength aerospace aluminum body wraps around a single lithium 123A battery so it comes in at a total length of 3.25 inches. The body's rugged aluminum construction is the perfect protection for its nearly indestructible high-output LED. A Boroflat® lens provides cover for the LED, and maximizes light transmission, while O-rings keep out the weather. The total package weighs just two ounces with battery.

The standard tailcap switch has been replaced with an attachment for a lanyard or keychain. A potentiometer has been integrated into its rotating bezel which works like the volume knob on a stereo. It gives the user the ability to select virtually any light output between zero and 70 lumens-making the T1A a practical tool that also offers tactical-level output. The LED produces a smooth, wide flood of light-ideal for close-to-medium range use-by way of the micro-textured reflector. The high-efficiency LED produces one hour of runtime at the highest setting and 60 hours at the lowest output.

Like a fine watch, the Titan is equal parts style and functionality. Its black satin hard-anodized finish and sleek lines all add to its simple styling and overall elegance. As with any best-in-class item the T1A Titan is not cheap
